1. What purpose do cupolas serve?
      Cupolas are a natural way to provide added ventilation to the roof area of a building. This ventilation allows air and moisture to escape, prolonging the life of the roof trusses and roofing material. All Country Classics Cupolas are built to be functional for this purpose.
   
   
2. What size of cupola do I need for my building?
      A very basic rule of thumb is for every foot of unbroken roof line (lengthwise) one inch of cupola (in width or diameter) is needed. Roof pitch and building height can affect the size of the cupola required.
   
   
3. What if my building is longer than 100 feet?
      In the case of a larger building, multiple cupolas should be used. An attractive solution would be a larger cupola in the centre of the roof, flanked by two smaller cupolas or use of two cupolas, one at each end.
   
   
4. What materials do you build the cupola from?
      A Country Classics Cupola is made from 3/4" marine plywood. This material is very weather resistant and strong yet lightweight. Each cupola roof has a wooden substructure, which is clad with 16 ounce roof sheeting copper.
   
   
5. Is it hard to mount a cupola on my roof?
      Determining the roof pitch and attaching the cupola to your roof is quite easy. With the purchase of a Country Classics Cupola, we provide detailed instructions to determine the roof pitch, cut the base and a method of installation for completion. In addition, we include care instructions for the cupola and the copper roof. We can provide guidance at the time of installation over the telephone.
   
   
6. Are the cupolas only available in white?
      A Country Classics Cupola can be finished to match your colour scheme. A paint sample is all we need to ensure your cupola is perfect.
